How To Use

Make Milkshakes

  • 5 level tablespoons of NZ Sheep Milk Co whole sheep milk powder
  • 2 tablespoons of flavour syrup/powder of your choice – Nestle Nesquik works great
  • 225ml cold filtered water
  • 1 scoop of Blue River – creamy vanilla ice-cream (optional)

Mix ingredients together in a milkshake maker or blender until combined. Serves 2

Make Sauce

Béchamel Sauce

In a pan, melt equal portions of butter and flour to a thick paste, then add reconstituted NZ Sheep Milk Co, milk powder and stir. Keep adding milk untill you achieve the desired thickness. Season to taste.

Cheese Sauce

As above – then when sauce is hot and reached the desired thickness mix in your favourite grated Blue River Dairy Sheep Milk Cheese and stir through until the cheese melts. For a mild creamy cheese sauce use Blackmount cheddar, for a unique sharper cheese sauce use a combination of Blackmount Cheddar and Curio Bay Pecorino

Make Yoghurt

Whether you use your Easiyo maker, or a pot on the stove, our sheep milk powder makes a creamy, delicious style yoghurt, which you can then flavour your own way.

Make and Bake

Milk powder can be reconstituted and then used as your new normal milk in any of you home baking. Whether it be biscuits, breads, muffins or scones you are only limited by your imagination.
